A Model To Remember

Larry Bowers is a model ship builder working on the a model of the “Ralph J. Scott, Old Fire Boat No. 2” which was put into service in 1925 at Long Beach, California and now, because of its storied history, the retired ship is being preserved. It’s also the ship where Larry’s father served as a fireman. The boat is a homage to his dad that he will donate the LA Fire Department Historical Society.
