In 1997, Tom Osborne became the first college football coach to win 200 games in only 25 years. With his retirement in early 1998, sportswriters began placing his name with legends of the game- Paul "Bear" Bryant, Woody Hayes and Knute Rockne. But Osborne did something that none of these coaches had ever accomplished. He won three national championship in four years.
