In 1985, the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked off the coast of Egypt by Palestinian commandos. It was the beginning of a three-day ordeal that culminated in the murder of American hostage Leon Klinghoffer and an armed standoff between two NATO allies to capture his killers. This documentary reveals what really happened during that event.
